Rice Raiser Canadian Fundraiser Website

Brought to life by estaliblished Canadian firm Bauhouse, the Rice Raiser website is a Canadian drive of helping those in need of help locally and internationally.

Out of all the Non-Government Organization (NGO) websites I’ve seen online, I think this will be one of the Top 10 now. The website design is done in a very subtle yet meaningful way that communicates a simple message of helping children feed to continue living.

Planet MY (Malaysia) Review

In the local scene today there are a number of emerging networks, aggregators, blogs and ever growing number of authors who are aiming to steal the limelight from the more popular. Nowadays if you’d like to have a popular face in the tech section of the newspapers, just start a blog and make sure you spam them to visit your weblog.

Nah, just kidding. You might be able to pull it off but I’m not supporting it. The best method for these authors who want their websites to reach an average of 100,000 views or unique visits per day need to invest their time in alternate methods. Such as submitting and joining to aggregators or networks that constitute to Web 2.0 – supposedly people empowered.

Malaysia Blog Website Review

I was invited to join the Malaysia Blog website and was expecting something different from what’s already existing today. But even on the first visit, I was disappointed with not only the lack of interest in providing it a website design but the goal of its existence too.

It took a scroll down to finally give me the message that this website is one of those blog ranking or website ranking networks. The ranking system is made by averaging the views or visits to your website/blog that is being tracked by Malaysia Blog and also the rating you might get from supporters.

Blogs Malaysia

It’s been a very quiet blog new year and it’s good seeing not that many flame wars being thrown around. Most of them nowadays are the stale fights with common bloggers. I suppose that’s a sign of a good year ahead.

But even the new year has some things in store for all of us. Like Blogs Malaysia when it first launched last year, generated much hype but towards the end of the year it faded away like old news. Have bloggers lost their interest or is it that every one is still hung over from their new year party.

UX Magazine

Imagine what does UX mean.

If you’re somewhere close to thinking ‘User Xomething’ then you’re closer than what I thought of at first. The term UX means User Experience, which is real catchy in my opinion. They’re suppose to be a magazine and I really did wish we had something offline like this. However, they’re an online publication and you’ll need to visit UX Magazine’s website to read the articles.

But she sure is a ‘beaut’ presented by agent CSSBeauty.

Simple Emotions

When a website produces simple emotions of relaxation and satisfaction, you know the designer has got a winner on his hands. In Mike’s case, he’s turned Emotions Live into a very beautiful and easy portfolio website.

Other than the attractive checkered stocking pair of legs, his work is really something when you’re short of inspiration.

Malaysia Map Directory Website

I just stumbled across the Map.com.my website while searching for a detailed map of Cherating. Needed a map so that I don’t goof up a client’s directions later. It’s a good sign because I actually found this website via Google.

As you know, websites I normally review are either great or have a lot of problems with it. :P

Well, I’m giving this one a chance for today.

Serene Green

A very environmentally fresh looking graduated website with an overall green pasture around it. According to the introduction, Serene Green is built on the strength of college students hailing from the U.S. and Canada.

Though they’re new to me, their portfolio projects scream out loud of their experience and their taste for design. They’ve even got a secret project up their sleeves.

Oh yeah, forget to mention that they’re a website development company.

BlogsMalaysia.com Review

There’s a difference between the blog network like b5media and the just released, Blogs Malaysia network. As much as it might sound like a blogging network, it’s really taking the idea or concept behind and make it more interactive.

The Blogs Malaysia website is all about connecting bloggers together under one space by allowing them to share other worth entries they’ve found online and later debate on it. Confused yet?
