Simple Emotions

When a website produces simple emotions of relaxation and satisfaction, you know the designer has got a winner on his hands. In Mike’s case, he’s turned Emotions Live into a very beautiful and easy portfolio website.

Other than the attractive checkered stocking pair of legs, his work is really something when you’re short of inspiration.

Mike has been working on websites since 1998 and he’s really damn good at making templates. Every one of his templates that I viewed by far has one of the best graphical efforts I’ve seen put in.

I could sense the passion and his great eye for design in every one of his works. And best of all, the works that he’s presented on the website were only his past ones. After viewing it, I just had to bookmark Mike’s website into my inspirations folder.

The funny thing, is that though his website is built upon CSS, there aren’t any rollover status for the bottom or the portfolio thumbnails. It’s uncommon nowadays to find a CSS driven website without any hover status.

The other thing I forgot to mention, when you’re viewing his works and being blown away by the sheer graphical ability, it quite resembles templates that are being sold on Template Monster or other template libraries. I’m not sure if anyone feels the same.

Anyway, I still respect Mike as a fine designer and his ability to pay attention to the slightest details of his templates. So have a look at the website template designs by Mike and let your Emotions Live.

Good on you, mate.
