Malaysia Apple iPhone and Samsung L760

I’ve been recently preoccupied with work, team building, Apple iPhone deals and a free new spanking Samsung L760 mobile phone. I now have 2 free mobile phones in hand – Apple iPhone (which I love to bits) and the unreleased Samsung L760. To be honest, if you were a blogger and wanted to participate in TechARP’s Samsung-Tech ARP Bloggers TT Sessions you could have done so from their website.

The seats were limited to 30 bloggers and only 25 of them were taken. Plus, as a participating blogger I got free lunch at Fasta Pasta at the first session. There are 2 sessions which require our attendance, October 20 and November November 24. Give or take, we’re having the Samsung phones for a period of 1 month.

Day 6: Photography using Malaysia Apple iPhone

My past days have been preoccupied with proposals and projects. It means good business for me but it makes me…ignore my Apple iPhone in Malaysia. T_T

If you read from day one I received the Malaysia Apple iPhone you will remember I’m only having this Apple iPhone because I’m reviewing it. Thanks to the guys at iPhones Unlocked, they’ve hooked me up with a 4GB unit.

Initially, I was only to have it for a 7 day review but it’s still in my hands. I’ve also worked out a deal with them so you can buy Apple iPhones in Malaysia from this blog at a special rate.

Day 5: Mobile Gaming with Apple iPhone in Malaysia

It’s been a busy weekend and I had to restore the Apple iPhone back to its original state on Saturday. Although it may seem like a bad thing, there wasn’t too much trouble restoring the 1.0.2 firmware back onto the Apple iPhone. After the restoration, I found a very cool feature iTunes had included for the Apple iPhone. Whenever you sync your Apple iPhone, it keeps a last known saved status of your files without telling you. So when I was worried all data was lost, everything was actually restored back to when I used the Apple iPhone.

Anyway, I’m going to be sharing about mobile gaming on the Apple iPhone in Malaysia. As we know it, the mobile industry in Malaysia is a very high factor for monetary gain from games to the localization of applications like PacMee (a Twitter replica).

Day 4: Buy the Apple iPhone in Malaysia

When I first learned about the Apple iPhone prices in Malaysia it was crazy. Although the prices were not fixed ranging from as low as RM2100 to as high as RM3000+. Everyone who wanted the Apple iPhone in Malaysia was justifying the cost, including me.

It was the simple calculations we did involving the product and only the hack. Some included the courier charges from the USA but that too didn’t add up to some of the reselling prices. In desperation, all I could do at the point was start blogging about the Apple iPhone in Malaysia albeit it’s a little different now. Since it’s right beside me as I’m typing this.

Day 3: Internet Surfing with Apple iPhone in Malaysia

Apple iPhone WiFi This is the half-point mark for me and the Apple iPhone in Malaysia which I’m reviewing. But I’m not going to let that get in the way and enjoy every single minute the Apple iPhone is still in my hands.

That’s why today I’m going to lay back and do some intense Internet surfing on the Apple iPhone using my wireless home network. Previously on the day it arrived to me, I was facing some trouble connecting it to my wireless network. However, human nature is to make mistakes and we learn then laugh from them.

So here’s the joke; I got my wireless network password wrong.

Day 2: Apple iPhone Videos in Malaysia

Apple Iphone videoJust like the iPod Classic (previously Video) or the Sony PSP portable gaming device, video playing on a mobile device is one of the norm found in mobile devices. Albeit Apple’s new iPod Nano are smaller and can play videos, I believe my personal satisfaction will not be satisfied by it’s 320 x 240 screen size.

Even comparing to the iPod Classic, I would have to say the viewing ratio of only the Sony PSP or Apple iPhone would be about the right size (for me at least). The Apple iPhone isn’t bulky (at all) and it’s support of H.264 videos are stupendous!

Day 1: Apple iPhone and Malaysia Apple Fans

Apple iPhone interfaceAt today’s morning business network meeting, the Apple iPhone with me in Malaysia was the center of attention. It was also my prop for the day to share my story about how blogging will benefit an awareness drive like the one I’m conducting now. Personal stories aside there was much positive feedback in the room.

Members were saying how cool that it moved so fluidly using only their fingers. Some members even said the price was affordable after I shared with them the price Shiew told me. On the other hand, we’re talking about businessmen and women who’re starting to get interested with the Apple iPhone in Malaysia. One member even said he would’ve bought the Apple iPhone if he didn’t just spend RM1100 on his new mobile device.

The zoom and accelerometer capability stole the show whenever another member did it to show the other what the Apple iPhone was capable of.

Day 0: Apple iPhone Arrives in Malaysia

Danny and his Apple iPhoneIt was weird noticing many not talking about the Apple iPhone in Malaysia. Hence, the first article I wrote; Why Malaysia is Not Talking about the iPhone? Then approximately 2 months later at a recent Apple event, Steve Jobs announced the new line of iPod Nano together with the iPod Touch.

In less than a week, I got wind many who were reselling Apple iPhone in Malaysia. Some were doing it through the Low Yat forum while others ordered through blogs like iPhones Unlocked. And thanks to Shiew from iPhones Unlocked, I’ve a 7-day (or longer) ownership of my very own Apple iPhone in Malaysia.
