Pictures speak a thousand words. In this case, one website screenshot of the official US whitehouse website trumps not only all our government websites but I’d literally say, put all of them to shame and embarassment.
Why is it so difficult to understand and educate Malaysia politicians we need government websites which are more user-friendly and functional? Even without mentioning web standards, I’ve literally not seen a Malaysia government website which even feels on par with something like the whitehouse. Pfft?! Talk about having the excuse, you don’t want to replace what’s not broken. And, here’s our Malaysia parliament’s website.

I totally agree with you. I have the same thoughts and feelings everytime I visit government websites. Haih… don’t know why our gov websites all look ugly. Don’t they have qualified or at least, up-do-date web designers? Or they just don’t care?
haha indeed… I don’t even know what’s going on with our government IT department. Are they doing their job? or coffee break all the time… They hired people every year, and no one dare to change or suggest the government to change their website? OMG! I even heard the government spend a lots of money when they outsource their project. Still, nothing better. I wish they hired me. LOL!
