Other than having agents around, another place I visit once in awhile to find out the local happening around the Malaysian blogosphere is Malaysia Bloggers Forum.
Remember how I blogged about Niche Market and I was saying what if your niche dies? Well, here’s a niche that won’t really die because it’s a routine type of business. I’ve been quite interested in knowing more about the buy and sell property agenda ever since one of my friends spoke to me about it. It’s not exactly like the stock market per se but I feel it follows something like the same concept.
Imagine seeing how important that company or property might be worth so you plan on investing on it. However, not many know how to tackle the property business. Well, look no further because here is Property Malaysia.
The blogger ain’t really that new to the blogosphere. He’s (assuming his name is Simon) got 2 other blogs running. One seems like a personal journal whilst the other is about books he might’ve read.
Anyway, he’s chosen quite a good niche to be based on. As we know, once you get till an age and dislike having to be under your parents roof or your partner might urge a move, we start thinking what is a good place or property to buy. I’ve not yet come of that age yet but hearing from my brother who’s engaged and also my eldest bro who runs D-One Consultants, it’s not easy just setting up house anywhere.
Property Malaysia blogs about the hottest properties around to even the better developers. Talk about covering almost every aspect of knowing property.
Honestly, I don’t think I can go any further telling you about property because you might know more than me. All I know is that buying a rising in market property is awesome. Imagine buying an apartment at less than 50 grand and selling at 100,000 later. :)

eh…? kiasu come from where? anyway, it’s true. I don’t really know as much in real estate compared to web design.
Wow, somebody has actually READ my property blog!
Thanks!
You’ve got quite a good niche going for you Simon. Just remember, you need to visit other peoples blogs and especially those who blog something regarding your niche. :)
Cheers.
actually danny, i’ve been looking for awhile, there aren’t any (so far) that blog specifically about property. or at least mention it regularly. have you found any?
Well, there might be no local ones but I think you might be able to find few international blogs. If not, then you’ve got a winning niche. ;)
danny…can finish your story ka?sorry for calling you kiasu *respect* coz usually i found out ppl like tat ..got idea dun wanna tell ended up self losing…
your story can be edited with comment, dun worry :) coz there r always new ppl dun knoe tis and tat but when come to comment already..the idea simply become best rather than remain at what you think.. IMO :D
Well, if you’re looking to learn how I’d better Simon’s blog. I’d give it a directed design so that it speaks its identity about real estate. Then later I’d try organizing the side menu a little better. Right now, I can’t tell between the correct navigation for the good stuff between his other links that are unrelated.
If you were looking for something else, noprojects, then do tell me. :) Cheers.
heyo danny, wut i`m looking for?hrmph let me..nth much but ideas hehehe :p not a idea sucking but a idea building type. :D
When you say idea building, do you mean methods of generating a new idea or idea for a building? :)
cheers.
generating a new idea tat can bring into reality
well, this blog is quite a new idea in the local scene. we may have many websites on the real estate market but none I’ve come across so far are blogs on the same topic. so I find this as an idea already turned into reality.
cheers.
hey maybe this site realestate.net.my
AFAIK, that website and some other real estate websites I’ve seen aren’t even close to good. All they focus on is getting money or traffic instead of concentrating on enhancing or improving their uses experience.
Clients who hire me know what I’d be talking about because I let them in on the process of how it would be done. :)
Cheers.
i dun get you?
Well, if I could explain everything I knew about good website design I’d have written a book by now.
All I can say is this, website design isn’t just making a website look good anymore. It is more than that. It’s about making the design communicate with your visitors, achieve the websites main goal and better the user experience.
Everything can’t be explained in a single post that is why I have this blog with me. It’s to help inform people what has website designing become and not what it once was anymore.
If you still don’t get me, just look out for article I wrte about the web. Cheers.
