I just finished reading todays Computimes in the NST and they had a full page on tying the knot. I was quite surprised to learn that the boost of tourist numbers came from married couples. The article highlighted that one of the places to benefit online right now is the bridal market. In the article, there were quite a few websites posted and knowing the expectations I normally put, I was looking quite highly toward the URLs provided in the article.
Other than spreading the roses and goodness of the launch with the many services offered, there are a couple of other websites suggested in the article. Thankfully, the next website www.malaysiabrides.com works and it looks pretty good though it’s just a forum. With 91 members (not sure how many are active), this is still better than having a dead website.
Up next we have another local company that has been granted an exclusive mention in the article. They are Casamia Bridal Gallery Sdn Bhd that you could visit at www.de-casamia.com. In the article written, it mentions that the company;
..is another player offering services, gowns and tuxedos, photography, and facial make-up and grooming.
Now, why would you need to include the URL of the company when their website doesn’t even offer any of these services for people to enquire or browse online? If you asked me, this website has blundered worst than the article right now.
Next URL in the article, www.feelwedding.com/honeymoon-packages/. This is one of those websites which would have pointed you from Google or some other search engine. It’s a website filled with links found by people and uploaded to their database. Reason I dislike these websites is because if I clicked it from a search engine, I’d have expected something to solve my query and not ask me to search again. The other thing I find uncomfortable browsing this website, the content looks like big chunks of content sandwich-ed together.
Still on brides, next website quoted in the article is called www.brides-r-us.com. At first glance, this website looks pretty reasonable. However, if you scroll to the bottom I think you might find what I dislike about this website. If you’d rather me tell you; it doesn’t have a usable navigation and you know what’s worst? Its pages contain the many links like you found on FeelWedding. GOSH!
Alas, the last website mentioned in the article didn’t have any problems because it was one of the first few search engines made in Malaysia after Catcha if I’m not mistaken. The website URL is www.cari.com.my/wedding/. I don’t really want to say much for this website but if I have to, I just want to say that “it works!”.
Personally, I think this is one of the few times that Computimes have included unworthy URLs in their article. *sigh*
wat a joke.
computimes did not do enough to check out
http://www.wedding-concepts.com/
Either that, or the article might’ve been written earlier and by the time it was sent to print, it was already too late. :)
Mr. Danny Foo,
It is your partner Mr. Vincent Tan who did the wedding-concepts site. Your partner had collected RM11,700 from us and had never been able to be contacted. This is one reason why this website was never put up properly. We are still awaiting a refund of our money as we have receipts issued by Vincent Tan for monies taken. After reading this blog I have a good mind to lodge a police report on your company.
I was informed and found out quite late that this jerk, first grade conman was your partner and the nerve you have putting up this stupid blog.
I want an apology, I want my website up OR my full sum of monies refunded.

Thank you.
Dear Ms.Sunita,
I really appreciate your honest response to the matter pertaining to your wedding-concepts project which involves the person named; Vincent Tan, whom you’re claiming to be my partner or accomplice in the matter above.
However, it brings hardship to me now to tell you he is not my partner and was never my partner. I was a freelance web designer he hired before I founded Simpleet Solutions and had no hand in your project before he even hired me to help him in his jobs.
Nonetheless, being a responsible blogger I would be more than happy to remove any particular mention of your website above if you so wish. And I will followup personally with you over email pertaining to matter of your website above to ensure there is no hard feelings or misunderstanding in relation between me and you.
Mr. Danny Foo,
Thank you for your quick response. I would appreciate you removing any mention of thi matter from this blog. Yes please follow up with email
Hello Sunita,
I have removed all mention of your website from the article. As I recall, only this article mentions it. On the other hand, I would like to leave your comments and mine regarding the matter here as I feel this is the only way to explain rationally why this article may have been edited.
If you personally feel uncomfortable with this and want me as well to remove the comments, please do let me know.
p/s: I’ve emailed you on the same date I posted my earlier reply. :)
Regards.
