We’ve heard of the great dilemma Claire of Minishorts faced when she discovered someone plagiarized her post directly, HERE. The perpetrator not only copied the images that were edited by Claire but also the article written by her. Now, as a blogger, that is truly sinking to an all time low.
I’m very sure everyone wants to make a quick buck and a name for themselves as fast as they can. Therefore I’d like to hereby announce the winner of the quickest, lowest, shadiest (if there’s a word) blogger or person in Malaysia. He is the owner of BloggerTips.
Quoted from Darren’s blog, ProBlogger and latest post, Introducing a Shoddy Blogger.
Have a look at BloggerTips (no follow tag used) – a blog that is filled with either posts that are ‘free articles’ or other people’s content. In both types of posts there is no credit given to the original author.
Now, as much as everyone hates people who plagiarize, this guy takes the whole cake..along with the box, candles and even the plastic knife.
This blogger made such a nice looking blog (though I think it’s a theme from somewhere) and has filled it with other bloggers articles. As far as I know, if you’d like to plug or use someone’s article, there’s such a thing called bibliography or referencing rules. Heck, you don’t have to even follow Harvard’s method of referencing. It’s not that difficult.
But no.. this blogger;
WhoIs information removed
Has done the worst thing by far any blogger has done in the Malaysian blogosphere. Even compared to the blog war that happened between a Malaysian and a Singaporean.
Seriously, I totally got a shock when I saw the address and I feel really embarassed to have sleazy bloggers like this.
Sigh..
Why is it when we always go international…its NEVER for something good?
Seriously. Want me to take a crack at his blog? It’s WordPress powered. :)
Maybe he hasn’t patched it yet. :P
take note, that nowdays everyone is seriously blogging for money.
that’s why this thing is happening.
I hope u know what i mean by that.
menxiaxueykan nya.
What a shame!! A none-blogger provides bloggers tips?
I am not asking you to change the specs or whatever. Facts will remain facts. But you can make a simple post interesting by doing intelligently. Since you are an IT blogger, what you can do is make a comparison and make your recommendations.
IE: The iPod Nano is indeed slim but I find the main drawback could be the storage size of just 2GB whereas the current iPod mini (which it replaces since it is no longer offered in US) has a storage of 20GB. To pay the same price for only 10% of storage which I can get previously does not sound that tempting.
OR
Oh Man! I am in love with the iPod Nano. Though the storage now is much smaller than what the iPod Mini is offering, still with it’s eye-catching slim design, it’s definitely a worth buy in my opinion.
now doesn’t that sound interesting? The specs is from a source and like I said, fact remains fact you can’t runaway from it… but the POST is from you… YOU made a comparison, YOU recommend/not recommend something.
I will definitely read blogs like these.

Someone just got to do something or maybe we can start a ANTI C&P blog campaign of some sort .
just my 2 cents
In the literary world, plagiarism is the worst form of crime. Unfortunately, it really is difficult to prevent, and the only thing that we can do is to educate others on the grave nature of the act.
shame of Malaysian bloggers. shame of Johor bloggers!
