LiewCF – Mac Prodigy

Since LiewCF has stopped pinging Project Petaling Street (PPS), I’ve only been visiting his blog come time to time. I’m not aware of his true reasons for doing so but I guess if it’s something kept personal then it shouldn’t be any of my business.

Some days back, I noticed a new blog pinging onto PPS so I decided to trail it and it led me to Mac-Switcher. Little that I know this blog actually belonged to LiewCF who recently purchased his RM3999, Apple iBook.

He’s currently using the default Kubrick theme though many of his followers are already pressing him to use a theme more related to Apple. Ahh, the sweet persuasion of other switchers always create an impact. Maybe we’ll be able to see a crystal orb like theme or huge icons on the blog soon.

Anyway, the reason he is becoming an Apple Switch Wannabe.

No lah~ As I am turning into a full time blogger, I wish to try something new about computer, too. Apple Mac OS is famous, but I do not know about it. I feel embarrassing. I want to learn about Mac OS! (I still cannot differentiate between “Apple” and “Mac”…)

I guess being a problogger, his pay cheques have given him a hand in purchasing his first iBook. I’m still pondering over solutions to how can I afford an Apple iBook or Apple PowerBook, if I’m lucky enough.

Few of the solutions I’ve thought of:

  • Sell myself website services cheap.
  • Design and sell T-Shirts.
  • Start new so-called innovative business.
  • Place extensive Adsense all over.
  • Sell my Windows computer. (though that’s madness)
  • Ask for donations with a fake plea.
  • Run a campaign to help design blogs for my iBook/PowerBook fund.

So what will I be doing on my iBook or PowerBook?

  • Testing all my work on browsers through it. (cause I can do it now.)
  • Wiping it day in and out to keep it clean or shiny.
  • Reading the manual while tinkering around.
  • Bringing it almost anywhere that I know has Wireless Internet.
  • Pondering places for me to obtain needed software.
  • Blogging my happiness and praying the G5 versions don’t roll out soon.
  • Join multiple Mac forums to learn about hacking the system.

Does anyone have any bright ideas for the bright future of me obtaining an iBook or PowerBook so that I can make websites not only simple but user-friendly on both the Windows and Apple platform?
