Operafest Children's Choir

Just when you think that some kids are supporters of evil, shrieking around in their underwear, thesse kids in Operafest are a sight that dazzles you. If you’ve not heard of them, it’s nothing surprising because they’ve never gotten enough publicity by the government and their presence was spread online enough.

Anyway, can you believe that these children are the second best children’s choir in the world. I’m not kidding. The choir group ahead of them (though hopefully not for long) is the Vienna Boys Choir.

I don’t know about you, but missing such existence of young high achievers was embarassing even when I found out.

I volunteered my services to help out a new friend I’ve made collaborating on another project. Pat Lu from Rayma asked if I’d like to give a helping hand to these kids and I did.

I helped her brainstorm, plan, comment, improvise, design, setup the website, Operafest.net. It’s the least I could’ve done to help these kids and make up for it since they’ve already traveled around the world in competitions.

The goal of the website was to enable them to gain better ground online. It was to be the central hub for them to share their experiences and their music with others. It’s to also update supporters of these budding kids about their coming performances.

If you’ve not heard them, they’ll be performing in One Utama this coming 26th November 2005. And if you’d like to learn more about how these children perform very well, learn more about Operafest.

  1. Thanks for the supportive words, Pat. I’ll let whoever wants to hire me decide on the quality before I scare them off with the quotation later. :P

    Cheers.

  2. Hi Danny

My children were formerly from Operafest and I am from Lions Club of KL Mega City. We’ re one of the latest Lions Club in the country. Was hoping to put up a website to enhance our charity projects and enable us to solicit willing donations from the public for the community.

Would be able to help us. You may view some of our work at

  3. Hi Tracy,

Ringo seems to be temporarily down at the moment. I’ll get in touch with you via email first. :)

    Cheers.
