The past whole week not I’ve been busy setting up the Merdeka Blogger Project. I’ve also been busy coordinating with my team on what needed to be done. Along the way, I’ve had feedback from authors that we lack few things. But the needs have been resolved already.
As much as I’d like to be blogging solely about Merdeka Day and the celebration we’ll all be having in the next 5 minutes, I’d just like to shout a big thank you to all bloggers who saw the potential in this project. You’ve helped make this happen and gave us the confidence to not breakdown and go mad.
All the posts that were plugged during the Pre-Merdeka were great as well as the official Merdeka posts. I was expecting a far worst outcome from this seeing how we actually rushed the project but I guess we did well. *clap clap*
So as our dear country ages a year older, we have her to thank for being faithful to her people and remain afloat. I’d also like to thank Indonesia or other surrounding continent around Malaysia for protecting us from the past deadly tsunami.
The Merdeka Blogger Project website was truely a test of patience, speed and also the ability to conjure up something while having Claire breathing down my neck. LoL! But who am I to complain since she helped promote the project as well as the members in the team. *hats off*
As much as I’d like to accept the design, I know much more could be done for it. But I guess that might happen next year if everyone wishes for the project to be carried forward into 2006.
Anyway, Negaraku just started on TV so we’re going Live with all the posts on the project. So busy busy busy people.
HAPPY MERDEKA DAY!
