What is the best method of harvesting data from your customers? Giving them free stuff for their name and email. That is why I want the Google notepad (some call it a notebook) Neowave is ‘bribing’ me with at the moment.
Why am I receiving their reward is not just because I want the Google notepad but because they want me to give my point of view on SEO E-commerce solutions. So this’ll be interesting and yes, if you hadn’t figured it out this is a Neowave Marketing Gimmick and plug.
In order to qualify for my Google notebook (I love calling it this), I need to share a few of my views on the relevant questions given. They are:
- Do you shop online? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I do shop online. It’s cheaper and more accessible. In my humble opinion, the Malaysia e-commerce market is slow due to its non-standard payment systems and adoption by many customers with the spending power. - What are your preferred payment methods for online shopping? (credit card, debit card, bank card, online banking, cheque etc) List 3 in accordance to preferences.
I wouldn’t mind using a credit card except that many will always ask, “will I incur any additional charges when I use my credit card?”. The one payment method I know which is being adopted fast by younger age groups is online internet banking. The only way to securely pay for something without having a pop up on a seller’s website look like it’s phishing. And believe it or not, I know of 1 payment solution in Malaysia doing this. - Do you use search for product pricing and information before you buy instore? which search engine you use the most?
This is cheating man! I should be getting 2 Google notebooks for this. That’s 2 questions bundled into one. :PAnyway, the behavioural pattern of e-commerce is like offline shopping. If you can find the product you’re looking for at the store you most frequent, you will buy it from there. However, if for whatever reason the product is unavailable or you found they are taking advantage of you by charging too much then I would definetely search as well for the product.
I don’t really use any particular product search engines like Froogle and etc.
Just wondering; what can a blog like mine give away as a prize?
p/s: I just noticed something on Neowave’s blog. You have to log in to comment but here’s the gist, there is NO registration form. -.-”

Just give a pingback/trackback to them and it will appear as a comment automatically :)
Good luck on both of us to get it! lol!
The thing I noticed with their trackback it’s a seperate URL. Unlike WordPress, it uses the same as permalink. :)
