Adobe Flash Player for Apple iPhone in Malaysia

March 22, 2008
So much for good news, Adobe now says the iPhone SDK isn’t enough and they’re not able to build the Flash player for the iPhone without Apple’s full cooperation; limited access to certain iPhone secrets. Hmm…something is up here.

iphone flash playerThe wait has been too long for myself as a web designer. And straight from Adobe’s Chief Executive; Shantanu Narayen, he said; “We believe Flash is synonymous with the Internet experience, and we are committed to bringing Flash to the iPhone,” Narayen said. “We have evaluated (the software developer tools) and we think we can develop an iPhone Flash player ourselves.”

This is all thanks to the upcoming iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK) for developers to bring out the full potential of the Apple iPhone. Plus, if you haven’t watched the keynote of the Apple iPhone SDK or iPhone roadmap, you’re so missing out the good stuff.

In the keynote, it’s a pure Apple demonstration of how much growth is still left for the iPhone. We’ve seen how Starbucks could be integrated but I saw how a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is integrated, I saw EA Games playing their new game Spores on the iPhone, I saw how the iPhone could be used as part of a medical exercise, and…I saw how you can remotely wipe out your iPhone with Microsoft Exchange. Sweet!

Oh, here’s a teaser…Timothy will be telling you all about the upcoming SDK later. :)

I’d like to steal more time to post but I’ve still got much work to do. Toodle-a-loo!
