Why Advertising Position Planning is Important?
I got this of one of the blogs I daily visit. I think it’s really worth sharing with everyone who’s thinking of buying advertising space or is planning to offer advertising space to others in their website. If you view the image, without careful planning of the positioning a big problem such as this can occur.
So make sure to be wary of where you advertise though the odds of these incidents happening is highly unlikely.
The Important 60 second Moment
One of the hardest things I’ve learnt in a business network is being able to present yourself, your job and your company in merely 60 seconds. It’s like one of those scenes in a movie where the boss is too pre-occupied and the lowly employee with a groundbreaking idea ends up too tense to even blurt out a word.
Imagine you were given 60 seconds to secure a job from everyone in a board room who’s interested to build a website. All of them have the general requirements to build their website but all that’s between them and you is the confidence to pass on the job to you. In that one minute they want you to tell them why they should hire or give you $5000 to build their website and not someone else outside the boardroom awaiting their turn.

Recognizing a Blogger is AlwaysWow
Being in a hall full of formally dressed businessmen and women is rather scary with everyone trying to exchange business cards with you. Sitting down at the same table his face was just too familiar to put aside and brushing the feeling that I really didn’t know this guy. But his identity was revealed after giving an energetic speech about his business and later shouting his tagline; Always Wow!

Merdeka Bloggers Recruitment still Open
There wasn’t much advertising done to promote the Merdeka Blogger Project (MBP) this year especially by senior or already popular bloggers. I probably could start listing the excuses and assumptions of why the project isn’t so popular this year but I’ll not. I’d rather just like to say the project registration will still be open until the next Merdeka 2007 and bloggers can still celebrate the Merdeka message MBP is communicating this year.
The weird thing I’ve noticed is that everyone assumes the celebration of Merdeka is all about the history involved. It’s all about Mr.Tunku Abdul Rahman standing on a podium and lifting his hand a couple of times screaming the words, Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! The criteria of unity is one of the things to celebrate on Merdeka but haven’t you ever looked beyond that?
