Ever since the consumer market has been penetrated by fitness centres like Fitness First, there have been many other big fitness facility providers emerging and one opened by Jackie Chan to boot.
When you (assumingly someone who’s interested in joining the club) visit the website, what are the things you’d be looking out for? Or what would your surfing waves be like?
- Find out about the latest promotions.
- Find out the fees for registration.
- Find out the perks of your membership.
- Find out if you require a personal trainer.
- Locate the nearest branch in your area.
- View photos of the branch in your area.
- Register online if available.
- Contact the staff regarding other enquiries you might have.
This might be the normal surfing wave every interested person would ride when visiting a fitness website. The more modern fitness websites I suppose would even allow you to view your progress in meeting your goals or remind you of the next session.

As much as the theme fitness goes, the website is almost proving that brains are still better than brawn. The worst part of it all is that I discovered several other Fitness First branches in other countries use the same template. Gosh!
I don’t think I want to start picking out the things I dislike about their website. I guess with more friends pulling other friends in, their website is merely for show and not to try and pull in more members via the Internet.
Maybe they could come up with some new online fitness thing like Hyperstrike. Now, this is a website I think all fitness websites should follow. Hyperstrike not only promotes itself visually as a fitness website but you can feel the energy surging.

I was taken back when I finally caught the product Hyperstrike was offering. With a banner like that, the first thing I thought was that this website belongs to one of those fitness centres.
How I wish it belonged to one of our local ones here.
