Tips Direct From 9rules

This entry might already be late by 4 days but I suppose it’s something worth keeping over here in the case of anyone needing it. Scrivs who recently visited here and left a comment in my past entry, One Week to Become a 9ruler has put up a helpful article.

The article is some tips and perspectives the 9rulers look for in a submission later on.

  • ..passion for your subject.
  • ..make sure you know what you’re writing.
  • ..acceptable writing schedule.
  • ..a different niche. Not just another website design blog.
  • ..design isn’t all important.
  • ..personal taste for Blogger/Blogspot submission might be more challenging.

Clear and simple ain’t it?

Well, for the whole story and explaination, read up the What We Look For In A Site.

Submissions should be starting tomorrow. Good luck to everyone gunning it out.

  1. hmm, I was actually wondering how to categorize my blog because I cover news/articles about website design and sometimes development. I write website reviews without holding back anything. I’ve taken a keen interest into marketing and business ideas or executions involving websites.

so I guess you could say I’m rather general in website but it also has become my niche within the local blogosphere. however, if compared to the entire blogosphere, I suppose I’m no different unless you consider my honest reviews a tight niche. :P

    cheers.

  2. Well, I’ve decided to shift my focus from a webdesign blog that isn’t updated for months to a webdesign blog which also details how to modify your (wordpress) blog from ground up.
Well, 2 birds with one stone you might say ;)

“removed your URL to prevent self-advertising scenarios. sorry.” – Danny Foo

warning: this is not an adult site.

  3. well, in other words, your blog will be about WordPress most likely. stopping your updates on or abou it after you’ve fully developed your blog would be a shame. :)

Anyway, looking forward to see the outcome of all the work you’re going to put in. Cheers.

  4. hmm, updates for the redesign will probably be slower when the blog has reach my target, but one can never be content with what they have ;) We’ll always find something to fix
