Kudos to P1 for adding an alternative solution to Internet prepaid users.
Although I use Streamyx at home, I have never used their hotspot service because they have limited coverage thanks to their strategic tie-ups with selected outlets only. Starbucks is definitely a place with good coffee and free WiFi, but the connection reliability dies once you’ve more than 5 users on the network.
The one thing I’ve considered though is how much is my usage within 15 days and 30 days. This is definitely very important to me because as a user who downloads, an amount of 2GB may sound little. Then again, I won’t be doing any torrent-ing on the go.
So, this calls for an experiment. The experiment would involve working out of the office for the duration of 15 and 30 days while using the P1 prepaid Wiggy service. It’ll be a RM70 investment or sponsor to asses my actual business and personal use of the P1 prepaid Wiggy. Just how much bandwidth will I really use.
Hmm, where am I going to get a sponsor for this experiment. Any takers? :P
