While randomly doing research on Technorati, I noticed some blogger tagged me to do a meme; 8 random facts about myself. And funnily, the definition I found on Wikipedia for a memetag is different to me. I always thought a meme is something random to be done as requested by another blogger but it could even be used to track statistics as well.
A memetag (or meme tag) is a blog tag that is included in all posts that reference a meme. When a meme is started on a blog – for example, ‘your top five favourite movies’  the meme tag is included at the foot of the text of each post that responds to the meme invitation.
By including a memetag, bloggers are recognising the initial creator of the meme and allowing them to track how their meme has spread across the blogosphere through the use of social media tools such as Technorati. Source: Wikipedia
Thus, 8 random facts about me from the top of my mind.
1. I’ve wanted to web design in Malaysia since 13
I still can remember my experience buying my first book which cost me; RM50. That money at the time was phreaking alot okay!
2. I’ve wanted to study in America since 13
I wanted to study there because US was the place to do web design in the 1990s. But the shocker came right after my final paper of the SPM examinations. While calmly sitting in my parent’s car, they suddenly asked the question; “would you like to continue your studies to the states?” *shock* but I didn’t go there in the end.
3. I’ve represented Selangor and Wilayah for swimming
My parents dropped me into the pool for all fun and games but according to them, they said I was very interested to swim when I was a kid. So one thing led to another from fun to lessons to training and to competitive swimming.
4. I’ve a tendency to space out
Don’t ask me what I’m thinking about because I can just look at an empty space sometimes and space out for a moment. Might be my unique way of pretending to listen. LOL!
5. I like chocolate
Okay, I wanted to say I love chocolate but I’ve lasted without them for awhile since I found out my Dad telling us about diabetes and friends saying how diabetics can be genetically linked too.
6. I don’t drink black label alcohol beverages
I actually wanted to say; I don’t drink alcohol beverages except wine, but it would’ve been too complicated. So I decided to just say I don’t drink the hard stuff but enjoy wine very much. :)
7. I don’t smoke
I won’t deny for not trying to smoke but when my realization kicked in, I somehow managed to stop before it began.
8. I do not ‘own’ an Apple iPhone
Hahahaha! I just had to put this in because it is a fact I do not own an Apple iPhone. I have an Apple iPhone with courtesy from MAXIMiphone but I do not own it (as in I can even flush it down the toilet).
