Solution for Empty Designer Minds

This tool is not a generator of finished ideas – it is a “thought-starter.”

I came across a website that offered quite a unique solution to anyone creative with a blockage for ideas. As the creative director of MouseBrains said, the phrases generated from the form you fill up isn’t finished ideas.

The form might not make much sense when you fill it up and it gets even more confusing when the results in phrases come out.

I tried it with my website design services to offer user-friendly yet effective websites and I got a bunch of phrases with those keywords along with other things like William F. Buckley, a nose, a mountain, and other random things.

The idea behind this website isn’t shear genius but the concept of having something random to help trigger your ideas or thoughts is spectacular.

I remember reading in one of the psychology books in the RMIT library at one time – I was doing research for a toilet idea generator. During the process of coming up with an idea, a human has several stages and what Mousebrains does is that by generating random thoughts for you to read over and over, it’ll help spark an idea or thought.

If you left the phrases there for awhile and come back to it, you might get light a bulb. That’s the illumination stage of coming up with an idea – one that I like personally.

So try out MouseBrains if you’re about to bang your head on the wall.
