I just visited Darren’s Problogger website and found him featuring something nifty I thought it would be great to share with everyone. :)
Introducing dPolls, an AJAX based poll that you could create for free. When you’d like to create a poll, you need to register a free account and verify the email address you’ve used in the registration. Once that’s done and verified, you’re on your way of creating your poll very easily.

As you fill in the fields, the poll preview will be updated on the fly. While on the dPolls website, I also noticed longer poll titles will scroll when you hover ove them. I’m unsure if they’ll automatically scroll when you put them on your website though. Maybe an option to enable auto-scrolling should’ve been implemented. There’s also an option of using your own background image but I didn’t give that a go cause I like the poll to be basic. But this will come in handy for marketing advantages. :)
The other thing you might notice on the dPolls website is that they feature newly and popular polls on the homepage. You can cast a vote directly from their website or visit the creator’s website and vote from there.
This is the poll I created with dPolls.
The minor setback though I suppose is when you’d like to host it on your website, it uses an iFrame. But still, isn’t this ajax poll system cool?
