Being in a hall full of formally dressed businessmen and women is rather scary with everyone trying to exchange business cards with you. Some times you don’t even have the chance to actually ask about their business let alone getting to know personally. Well, now I know how scary a business networking event can be.
The most unexpected happened at the event where I met a former college friend and someone that I only met once in my entire life of blogging. Sitting down at the same table his face was just too familiar to put aside and brushing the feeling that I really didn’t know this guy. But his identity was revealed after giving an energetic speech about his business and later shouting his tagline; Always Wow!
The bell rang in my head instantly when I heard his name and the tagline. I knew exactly now who he was and he was no other than Andreas who blogs at AlwaysWow. I don’t think he realized that I was the blogger he met one time in MidValley Megamall but a familiar face at any event gives me a great sense of relief of not being an outcast from the larger group.
We caught up a bit on blogging and what we do in our business, we even exchanged business cards. The other surprising thing though was I never expected him to blog about it. Hahaha. Thanks Andreas.
Now remember, keep your life always wow!
p/s: Sorry if I got the line wrong Andreas. Think you do it better. :D
Great to you, Danny. You are doing fine, and if possible, spend the cash and join us. It is less scary and very rewarding!!!!!
Honestly, I didnt recognise you and I owe you an apology for this. But hey – it is great that bloggers enter the business scene, and you, keep on rocking. I might even have business for you to develop one of my websites. How is that”
Please keep this in mind and we talk about this in November, okay. Now, when you remind me in November, you are a great business guy as well because …. great and successful business guys remember those dates.
The tagline is: Design your mind – create your life – make it a WoW. AlwaysWoW ! hehe
Wow, a project to plan 2 months in advance. I wish I have a great memory but unfortunately its something I’m a little short of. So please forgive me first.
Anyway, I’ll see you in November then. :)
