Or known as The Media Shoppe which their website you could visit, HERE are now AirAsia’s website portal solution provider. According to the TMS website, they’re a local software vendor company with quite a drive for CMS. I quote from InTech today of the future expectation TMS is about to offer us consumers;
TMS will revamp AirAsia’s portal to enable the airline to further enhance its customers’ online experience.
After reading that line, I’m so going to review the website once the overhaul is done. I’ve used the website a couple of times lately for booking tickets and I must say on a scale of 1-10, I’m only giving their current website a 3 or 4. Other than their aggressive advertising, their website doesn’t handle the satisfaction that should be given to enhance its customers’ experience.
But now with TMS heading the project, I’m awaiting to see what could be chiseled out from a starting block again. Hopefully they’ll analyze and maybe even interview some users before going ahead with the project. Then their final result would be such as ‘The Thinker’ masterpiece and probably even put MAS website to shame. ;)
Bring it on, TMS!
I hate tmspublisher.
I’ve actually yet to see more of their work so I’m putting a quite high expectation for them here. Being a commercial body which booming flight provider; AirAsia, appointed to handle their website, I’m onlooking how they’ll handle improving user experience. ;)
well hopefully they will first improve their flight reliability and cut down some of the false advertisement. heh.
that’s a whole different level, KY. but I know what you’re speaking about. Luckily I read their T&C before dealing with them. *phew*
Hi Danny,
Came to your site from PPS. Good site with informative information. Well done.
Being a frequent flyer of Air Asia in year 2005, I would say that the site is pretty user friendly. However, I have to admit that I took longer to book my flight during my first reservation, but have never got lost in the entire process.
For the subsequent bookings, I knew what I want and never have any issue with its website.
Maintaining its current robust security level and improving the response time are something I wish for its new site.
Hey Mun, thanks for dropping by and adventuring outside of your fitness blog. You’ve got quite a bunch of good stuff there too. :)
The first experience is nowadays the most important in keeping any user. If it’s not ‘idiot proof’ then you won’t win over most of the market. They’ll probably use your site once and be done with it in future. Unless if you’re a hotel and you gave them such a great experience they won’t remember their lousy online experience anymore.
Although they’ve launched their new website, I still see kinks they need to resolve to incorporate a richer user experience. Once those are iron out, they’ll have an online powerhouse. :)
