Malaysia Blogger is Missing
Updated on September 3, 2008:
The Malaysia blogger in question has disappeared again. Due to this, Simpleet had been forced to terminate his services and hopes he’ll not only wisen up but in future, prepare to accept more responsibility and be more professional in his future business matters.
Updated on July 21, 2008:
A commenter asked me what is the current situation. And my reply was, there is no more credibility, no more faith, no more confidence and not a single sign of responsibility taken from the missing blogger.
I’m worried for him. And most importantly, my clients are in a state of panic hearing about this too. He’s not been contactable the past 72 hours. He’s not answering his mobile phone calls and texts. His website has been suspended pending action of renewal. He’s a freelance Malaysia website designer and currently is responsible for 2 of my projects.

I don’t want to jump to conclusions but clients are already thinking irresponsibility and unprofessional. Therefore, if you’re a friend of Ikram or do manage to contact him please inform him to speak to me urgently.
Hello and welcome to Websites Made Simple. I'm Danny Foo and this is my Malaysia website design blog. I also co-founded a registered Malaysia website design company;
Fath:
I know it’s a pain. And as much as I want to help him, it’s not coming along well with the clients. This is one of the things I dread running my own company - when you have trusted workers taking a turn.
Yup, it’s happened before with freelancers that we worked with last time who just disappeared and not picking up / replying phone calls, emails… etc. Very poor work ethics!
This dude has some really excellent talent, seen some of his work being published on various sites. One of his downfalls, his pride and now probably his work ethics.
Mike:
It’s just so unprofessional. Not to mention they want to be freelancers apparently cause it’s better pay and it’s flexi hours.
MJ:
I value his work and skillsets which was why I brought him onboard. But I guess he doesn’t understand how crucial can bad news become when it involves himself.
So, have you found him?
I suppose you did, or at least update the post la if found.
*btw he’s on my YM now.
goldie:
Nope, he still hasn’t taken responsibility to SMS my earlier replies nor replied my earlier calls which I had done many times before I decided to ask others for assistance on this.
An update I can share is he’s made the company lose income and he’s damaged not only the credibility of the company but also the faith a client had in him. I’m sorry to say this but this ordeal has made me lose complete faith in him as well.
And you know what makes it worst, he’s running away from it and not addressing the matter when I’m right here open for discussion.
Danny, I spoke from experience, I have dealt with the character in your post before and from that experience, I would never do any business with him. Ever.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with him, I hope you would find someone else. I know several reliable designers that can take on your job, just contact me.
Good on you, menj. Always a friend I can count on.
Well, email me a list and I’ll vent through the applicants before getting them for a mini interview. Thanks.
