MalaysiaWebDesign at Blogspot

i just found out that someone else has started a web design or web development weblog at Blogger. Let’s give a round of applause to James Tan of ISSConcept who’s..

..a professional ERP consultant that works with few local well-known ERP software provider.

Mr.Tan recently left a ‘very’ constructive comment on my entry, E-Commerce Malaysia. The comment that was left by James was something like this..

Dear sir, agreed with you.

“URL removed due to self advertising” – Danny Foo

JAMES

As you can see, I shamelessly removed the center sentence in hs comment because it was a mere redirection to his weblog that was started in August 2005. Actually, to be honest, I wouldn’t really call that it even started because when I visited his MalaysiaWebDesign.blogspot.com website, it only had 4 entries. There was one in August, one in September and two this month. Thank goodness.

The other funny thing I was wondering, why does he need so many Blogger accounts to address both of his latest entries this month? *shrug*

The first was tips to build a good and effective website. The odd thing here is that you’re then lead to another weblog started by him called, http://website-design-malaysia.blogspot.com/. Nope, that isn’t linked because if I wanted to do that, I’d rather have linked this than his main website. The second or latest entry was about finding and picking out a good website hosting provider in Malaysia. That article when clicked on leads you to http://webhostingmalaysia.blogspot.com.

In my humble opinion, I wouldn’t advise anyone to do something like this especially when you’ve already named your weblog, Malaysia Web Design. For the webhosting it’s still alright but pushing your visitors from your main weblog to an article at just another weblog, what is the point?

James also runs another blog that covers the topic ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) – that I only found out what it meant via Google. He also acknowledges that he’s an SEO specialist since year 2000. Now where did I put that Qualified SEO Specialist test. SEO Quiz, James?

The quiz is just about the ‘fathers’ of SEO. :)

I did notice the website in Firefox since it is my default browser. But I’d rather let you guys have all the fun. ;)

Anyway, I’m going to be looking forward to see what other stuff James will be churning out since the review is now archived here.

Hmm, Gemini, when you meant weird.. did you mean the background doesn’t load? Other than that, the text formatting remains consistent. :)

I’ll try to force a background color onto the DIV.

    *EDIT*

Weirdly enough, I tried to forced a background but it still didn’t work. :|

    any way to fix it?

I’ve tried assigning a background color to the IDs but that didn’t work. Probably I’ll just use a different template for the time being. See how it goes.
