As you know, the market isn’t corrupted by freelancers alone but by those who want-to-be professionals in this field. Little do Malaysians know and some care for the professionalism involved when building a succesful website.

That’s one of the sole reasons I started this weblog. It’s to educate either the interested or the corporate sector in this line or seeking to achieve a more successful website.

Anyway, I’m in the same boat as you because clients in Malaysia just don’t know how to value serviceswe have to offer them.

The fact is , there are too many web design freelancer in Malaysia and they spoit the market, further more, the economy and market in Malaysia is bad, too competitive. Now website design is a hard job with little margin, and many people go for SEO now, however, this kind of people only help clients achieve Top position by pay-per-click sponsor link, and it cannot last long. Unfortunately, many clients in Malaysia, still don’t know how SEO works. For your information, i usually charge more than RM 2,000 for SEO, while other freelancer charge only RM 800 to RM 1,000 for SEO. One day, my client drpped me and choose others, When i find out what is the scenario, oh my god, it is pay-per-click. I was angry, and tell the client, saying : ” i teach you how to do pay-per-click, you don’t need to pay me, you pay by yourself directly to Google or Yahoo.”

so, you see, client in malaysia need to be educated, that’s why i write the articles, but may not as frequent as you.
