RSS is a really useful tool to glance at the title or summary of blog posts. Have you subscribed to mine? :)

Well, I wouldn't really call it plagiarism though it might've sounded that way. New ideas come from existing concepts. And improved ideas come from a bettered concept. However, in this case you referenced the execution was better done.

End of the day, my aim was to share where the concept could've been inspired from then stolen. :)

Isn't really fair to label it as plagiarism as paper cut-out animation has been done to the death for ages. Common Craft might have similiar movements and base concept but Maxis executed it a lot better. (probably purpose and budget)

The actual commercial didn't have anything which could prevent it from being banned on Malaysia air so it was alright. The more creative concepts sometimes involving racism or sex is the one which won't make it into the light of the day.

p.s: I've added you to my MSN. :)

The misconception of anything being original isn't new nowadays. No doubt, this concept or something similar has been recycled and reused in foreign countries ever so often.

But I applaud that this concept actually do get to see the light of day. Most clients in Malaysia aren't that open-minded to creative concepts like this.

Happy Belated RSS Day!

P.S. Mind if you add me on MSN? Cheers
