RM471.73 per WordPress Template
That’s the rough amount you might have to pay for a designed and coded template. These aren’t my rates but one of the offers I found from the Sitepoint Contests forum thread.
I believe most of you who are reading this are already wondering, why would anyone pay for just a blog redesign? Well, other than being able to fund for it, some people actually recognize the difference when hiring a professional to help them out.

The Requirements:
I’m looking for a wordpress coded template in CSS/XHMTL. The template should allow for wordpress plugins to be added.Vision of the website:
The website will be a IT blog website of techie news and tips that I find on my travels.Design and Layout:
I don’t really have any requirements in terms of colour scheme and layout. I recently ran a contest for a logo, which can be found at http://www.hamsterball.co.uk, so I would like the logo included somewhere in the design. Other than that, be creative!
These are the normal details provided by the topic starter that needs to be fulfilled by participating applicants gunning for the prize money. The money is normally assumed to be in US Dollars unless said otherwise.
Anyway, the whole purpose of me posting this is just to show anyone who wishes to hire me or another freelancer to design and code their weblog, please do not be surprised when we say it costs you around RM470.
And before your ‘moneymalice’ thoughts kick in, let me just say that You Get What You Pay. On a more positive note, be happy that if you approach a freelance designer/programmer you’ll get this price instead of the expected RM10K you need to pay companies.
