Facebook Designated Announcements

This post was to be published before Facebook announced their latest customization; designated wall announcements or statuses. Yes, before Facebook publicly announced this, I never knew I was one of the randomly selected testers of it.

It was so discreet it didn’t occur to me until I was teaching another friend how he could actually write designated announcements to only his selected friends list. Well, now I know why he couldn’t do it before. :P

Are you already using what Facebook calls; Privacy announcements?

Or, is your default to allow everyone to read what’s on your mind? ;)

    I cannot open facebook because the privacy announcement will anot allow me to open page

    That’s odd. By now Facebook should’ve made it available to everyone.
