Seriously, I think that the client probably has the notion that students do part time jobs for "pocket money" and experience, which I think is pretty bullshit, as whatever job you do (even if you're a 50 year old consultant), is an experience to you. If I'm in such a position, I'd politely explain that things are tougher too, since they need to balance their studies too. Give him an example: does KFC/Pizza Hut have different rates for part time jobs? Student? Get less.. dropout? Get more.. no such thing right?
