Multimedia artist Victor Chin did two series on that subject. It is the angle actually. The perspective of a subject in sitting down position taken from a standing up height is sometimes unflattering. Maybe that is just my point of view. Maybe I am fussy. Maybe I am just too vain. Haha. Many people take photos of wheelchair users from a standing up angle. That makes the perspective somewhat unnatural. Anyway, the event was great and yes, we should have an ice breaker to allow the participants to get to know each other.
