The Google Robot or Googlebot Needs New Batteries

GooglebotGoogle has yet to come out with its own robot but it’s Googlebot is constantly scouring the Internet for relevant content in webpages. The Googlebot is a search bot used by Google. It collects documents from the web to build a searchable index for the Google search engine.

When you sit with a group of search engine optimizers, they’ll be talking about how they try to control the Googlebot to help websites be on top of the Google rankings. But I personally think Google is going to have to change the robot’s batteries. In other words, to tweak it a little bit more rather than to just find relevant keywords.

RSS Not End-User Friendly

If you’re a blogger or Internet-savvy user, you might have heard of RSS or better known as Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication. Site summary does give a clue on its own but coupling that with the word Rich in front, it’s a whole new jargon in the IT world.

So what exactly is Rich Site Summary about? Well, if you ask any technical person or blogger, they might mention more jargon like XML and how it’s a technology used to pull headlines and other content on the Internet.

In layman, RSS is the ability to access or keep track of vast amounts of content easily.

The one and only method recognized by many clients because of its common use is via credit card.
