Will Smith is Coming to Malaysia

No, I am not kidding. Rumors have it Will Smith will be landing in Malaysia next month; July. This information was leaked by a reliable source though not in direct relation to Mr.Smith. However, it’s not been confirmed if Will Smith will physically be here. ;)

What’s cooler than meeting Will Smith? I’d say a superhero, namely; Hancock. If you’ve not heard, Hancock is the superhero character played by Will Smith. Though unlike any superhero normally perfect, the story starts with Hancock being a complete buffoon. He apparently is a homeless who drinks too much and sinks a ship in the attempt of saving a whale. Talk about things which can go wrong for superheroes.

All-Malaysian Bloggers Project Smashin Gathering 2008

Thanks to All-Malaysian Bloggers Project (AMBP), Cinema Online and Microsoft Malaysia for making the second blogger gathering a success at Outpost, Cineleisure Damansara.

The event started with the bloggers registration whether they were invited by The Star (AMBP) or others. And again, Star Jobs had a mini booth setup for bloggers who haven’t given up their day jobs just yet. The crowd was as good if not better than the last gathering held at Starbucks, Gardens Midvalley.

Free Movie Screening of Hulk The Movie Today

I’ll be attending the AllMalaysian Bloggers Projects; Smashin’ Gathering for Bloggers, this morning. It’s a gathering for bloggers registered under AMBP who’ve been specially invited. Today’s gathering agenda will host a number of speakers like:

  • Aizuddin Danian (Founder of Project Petaling Street)
  • Kimberly Low (Malaysia blogger)
  • Peter Tan (Malaysia blogger)
  • Chin Vin Sen (Cinema Online)
  • Rohan Thomas (Microsoft Malaysia)

So how do you get the free movie screening for the movie; Hulk?

Well, the movie starts at 3:00PM but I most likely won’t be able to make it. I wouldn’t want to waste the free screening and the time the AMBP team used up organizing this. Therefore, I’m opening my 2 seats to you (readers).

What I’ll do is inform Michael A. Fredericks I’m passing my passes on to someone else. Because I’m not releasing my phone number here or have time to check emails while I’m there, anyone can redeem the tickets. Therefore, it’ll be a first come first serve basis to whoever is at Outpost, Cineleisure Damansara and comes up to me later. So if you want to watch it, spot me and ask me. :)

Disclaimer: I’ll not be held liable on any account if Michael or anyone of the AMBP refuses me to pass my tickets to anyone unregistered with AMBP.

How to Win Deal or No Deal in Malaysia?

Technically, this is suppose to be a secret. So I’m only going to share limited information about this. It’s great publicity for NTV7 and the show that I’m writing this but in case there are any corporate policies which hauls my *ss to court, I’m keeping mums on certain secrets. Obviously, I want to win Deal or No Deal in Malaysia too.

Alright. The secret is…I’m going to be one of the nervous, cold sweating, innocent looking, spaced out, smiling contestants in the Q & A part of the show. You know the ones where 6 contestants are like competing to stand on the main podium, stare at the Revlon models, ask a bag and freak out knowing it’s the RM100,000 bag? Yeah, I was selected to be one of the contestants.

So if you know how to win deal or no deal in Malaysia, let me know in the comments.

The Power of The Internet

toolsMy constant hiatus now should be blamed on my clients. They’re crazy, I tell you! But, thank you Arori for asking Simpleet to setup Full High Definition Club online. There are other clients I’d like to thank on behalf of Simpleet for their business but they’re still in the works. Albeit having crazy clients, we do it simple…we do it right. Thanks, Hawk.

Now; how many of you have realized how powerful is the Internet? Well, here’s my story of realization when I could have fixed my Panasonic air conditioner (AC) on my own - if I could. It all started when the machine started turning itself off. I started trying to fix it by turning the power on and off, resetting the remote, resetting the AC via remote, and…even used the Internet to find out what was wrong.
