I recently had a chat with my Apple iPhone reseller; MAXIMiphone. And he told me they’ve gotten their hands on some awesome Apple iPhone protective case covers. They are called Apple iPhone protective capsule covers.

I’ve not tried one out yet – will get one later. But from the photos he passed on to me, they look really sleek and sturdy. Not to mention you can even interchange the faceplate protectors. Now, that is cool.

Rumoured Apple iPhone 1.1.3 Firmware Details

I’m feeling Apple seems to be pretty desperate to either fix bugs or make sure their Apple iPhones aren’t unlocked time and time again. It seriously wasn’t long ago before Apple released their 1.1.2 firmware. And now, it’s rumoured a new 1.1.3 Apple iPhone firmware is due for release.

Nonetheless, I’ve read some of the items to be available for the Apple iPhone in the 1.1.3 firmware release and must say, I’m looking forward to this one. At least, more than the Apple iPhone benefits found in the 1.1.2 firmware – which I’m not using still.

Apple iPhone 3G Version May Hit Japan First

I just learned from CNN Money, two of the biggest Japan telecommunication providers are in talks with Apple to reap the market benefits of the Apple iPhone. The two telcos are none other than NTT DoCoMo and the third biggest provider in Japan; Softbank Mobile.

In terms of business figures, the famous NTT DoCoMo company has 53 million customers while Softbank only has a smaller 17 million customers. It looks to be a David and Goliath war against the two Japan telecommunication providers.

31 Question Series for The Apple iPhone in Malaysia – Part 2

Yesterday, I shared the first 15 questions Jason pointed out to me. Those were only the simpler question hence the brief answers. And I want to side track a little that I recently even had to converse with a Sabah iPhone enquiry in Bahasa Malaysia. That was very good practice. Anyhow, today I’m listing the second part of the 31 question series.

Let’s start of with Question #16:
16. When was the version 1.1.2 released? I went to Low Yat Plaza yesterday and I heard that the next update is coming in another 1-2 weeks.
Version 1.1.2 was released sometime in November. As for 1.1.3, it’s all rumours so I can’t say for certain in 1-2 weeks 1.1.3 is released.

They say admitting your weaknesses opens up opportunity to your competitors. But I’d rather be honest and continue living my life without regrets than to sell my soul or trick these people who’re going to splurge on an Apple iPhone in Malaysia. Which is why I always inform all iPhone enquirers through my contact form, I’m only an average type of iPhone user.

And recently, my general iPhone knowledge was put to the test by a recent commenter; Jason. He wanted assurance the Apple iPhone indeed is stable in Malaysia and most importantly, usable. So he came up with 31 questions for me to address but I’m breaking this into 15 question (2 part) series because during the post preview, I found it too long.
