Stop The Blogging! Halt The Press!

Stack of newspapersRemember when I said bloggers should experience a blogger burnout at least once in their blogging journey. Well, preliminary symptoms of blogger burnout is most commonly found in difficulty of coming up with posts based on the schedule of your blogging strategy.

If you asked a blog guru or blog celebrity what they do when in this situation they would suggest a 101 ways for you to overcome it. It could be from aggregating other blogs to make simple lists but I’ve found an ultimate solution you will most definetely find helpful too.

The solution as Ah Pek puts it; When the Blogger’s Block Hits, STOP! I’m only going to say the wise words shared was to stop blogging for awhile. Take a break from blogging. Don’t blog for maybe a day, two days or three. It’s totally up to you but remember to come back.

I believe what Ah Pek shares is the truth. You will not lose everything for not blogging 2-3 days. If you’re really worried, I’d advice putting it nicely to your readers you will be on hiatus awhile. The proof in fact again pointed out by Ah Pek is instead of forcing yourself, recuperate and start churning out quality articles again. And I believe, content is still king in a blog.

Therefore, again…don’t be afraid to experience a blogger burnout. And if your mind is empty, don’t force yourself to blog but let yourself wander into space awhile. For all you know, there might a grandmother story you may not have told us about before. ;)
So do it…take a break from blogging for 2 days and see how it makes you feel.

Question(s) of the day:

  1. What is your LONGEST break from blogging?
  2. How did you FEEL when you blogged again?

I could go on for a week without blogging but once I come back I seem to be lost for the right words to type. But if I take a break and go do something interesting, I will have more stories to share with the readers.:)

Never expected you to take that many days. Do you have a guest blogger to substitute?

So in other words, regaining the observation and talking about the basics all over again? :)
