Apple iPhone Protective Case Cover in Malaysia

apple iphone case coverI recently had a chat with my Apple iPhone reseller; MAXIMiphone. And he told me they’ve gotten their hands on some awesome Apple iPhone protective case covers. They are called Apple iPhone protective capsule covers.

I’ve not tried one out yet - will get one later. But from the photos he passed on to me, they look really sleek and sturdy. Not to mention you can even interchange the faceplate protectors. Now, that is cool.

Each package comes with the case and 3 faceplates. The faceplate colours available are black, white and red. At the moment, they only have 2 packages which are either Black or White.

The case looks like it’s made of a hard plastic and from one angle kind of reminds me of some Sci-fi gadget from Star Trek or something. There is even a safety lock at the back of the case to unlock before the cover can be slided off.

Whilst I go get one for myself, here are some of the photos he showed me of the Apple iPhone protective case cover they bought to Malaysia.

Oh yeah, MAXIMiphone are selling these Apple iPhone protective case covers for:

  • Black: MYR 148 (3 faceplates: Black, black and red)
  • White: MYR 138 (3 faceplates: Black, red and white)

Please visit the MAXIMiphone website to place your orders. :)

    Hi Danny,
It looks really nice. But it is kind of too late for my iPhone, accidentally knocked it with a mug, created a visible dent on the chrome plated area. Huhu… :-( Created a hole in my heart too to see my baby that way!
But, does it make the iPhone bulky? What I hate about the protective casing I have is it makes my iPhone looks and feel much bigger than it is. That’s why now I carry my baby around ‘naked’. I might want to get this one to prevent another incident…

    RiceBlogger:
I’ll get permission from MAXIMiphone to do the test first. :P

    Xander:
Judging by the solidness of the plastic, I’m guessing it’s going to add 0.2-0.3 cm thickness in total all round. But it’s meant to protect your iPhone therefore it needs to be thick so it’s a given-lor.

Nice, but I have no iphone to protect.

    Hi Danny,
I’ve followed your link to maximiphone’s website, but can’t seem to find where i can place an order for the casing on their website…any other leads? And I do agree with Xander, I really dislike most of the casings sold in the market which adds to the bulk and thickness of the iphone. Am looking for something simple yet tough

Hey rob, glad you’ve found the articles and comments helpful. :)

I’ll email you personally on how you can order. As for the unavailable contact form, I’ll have to inform them.

    Regards.

  18. Response #18 by Danny Foo on February 21st, 2008

Not the right buy, Val? Or does it spoil the beauty of the iPhone. :)

Anyway, do note if you leave your email open like that it’s your responsibility and whether or not spam (or spammers) use it will not be in my control.

  23. Response #23 by Nicholas Ng on May 7th, 2008

Hi .. i tried their website but i cannot seem to be able to find any link on the capsule case. Pls advise. Thanks heaps.

  24. Response #24 by Danny Foo on May 10th, 2008

No worries, Nicholas. Quite a number of commenters actually mentioned it and it’s because they haven’t updated that portion in their website. Nonetheless, I’m emailing you the person’s direct contact. :)

  25. Response #25 by Desmond Ong on May 16th, 2008

looks good, does it heat the phone up? like some cases do?

n send me the contact please. thanks

  26. Response #26 by Danny Foo on May 17th, 2008

Sadly that is a yes, Desmond. If you speak too long or use the iPhone for intensive applications like calling, surfing and watching videos (plus undiscovered others) the back of the iPhone does heat up.

However, thanks to its material it dissipates heat far better than any mobile phone in the market. Will pass you my reseller’s contact. :)
