TMNet Streamyx Interruption Again
This is utter rubbish! Their service disruption has been occuring if not often, on a timely basis. This is proving the fact either they are doing a very lousy job or someone somewhere isn’t supplying the quality products in the first place. Either way, let me share with you the interruption schedule so far.

Telekom Malaysia Berhad wishes to announce that there is a disruption of its Internet services due to circuit faults on the SMW3 between Tuas, Singapore and Penang linking Malaysia to Hong Kong and APCN2 near Chongming, China connecting Malaysia to the United States. As a result, customers using the Internet services may experience slow browsing while accessing websites hosted in the U.S. and Hong Kong.
For what happened in January, it’s difficult telling if it was indeed a third-party contractor who dug up the wrong cable. But it’s weird noticing how every end of the month, TM seems to be having some problem. Worst of all, it’s symptoms are becoming the circuit faults. Don’t their engineers have to check these things on a regular basis?
Honestly, if they can’t even buck up on the Streamyx broadband service, then what’s going to happen when they roll out the Fibre To The Home (FTTH) residential project?
