Fellow blogger and friend, Jonathan Ng of Beyond Simplicity (though might be switching to a simpler domain) has written a short review of Blogs Malaysia and started a rather interesting discussion in his entry, Web Designers and Blogs.

Firstly, thanks for promoting me and Stanch for the work done on the new metablog or blog network. I didn’t do much work since Stanch was in control of development. And it’s common that when you’re developing a website, you just can’t the sight of either border-ed DIVs or colored in a solid background. ;)

Anyway, the part that sparked interest in Jonathan’s topic was if ads and a web designer’s blog should gel together.

Ad Location Proven via Case Study

I just finished reading one of Adsense latest case study about how Tim from AskTheBuilder.com managed to boost his already $10,000 monthly AdSense revenue to a whopping $30,000 revenue.

It was very interesting learning about Tim’s history and his journey of making it happen in a year since 2004.

Flash Player 8 Redraw Regions

I was surfing Hardware Zone and noticed they were running a CANON iPixma printer contest but dang, it already passed. Anyway, the micro site was done in Flash and as usual, you’d find out by right clicking the mouse on the area.

I noticed something new in the flash player 8 menu. There was an option called Redraw Regions. Like a curious puppy, I clicked on it and didn’t see any difference until I clicked on a link and loaded the next page. There were red outlines everywhere. It was like..
