More iPod Blog

First part of the news is about a new trend in the UK (..or I think it’s new), it’s called Mobile Clubbing. It replaces the hype of Flash Mobs with people listening to their personal stereo and dancing. I came across this while surfing for more iPod stuff and came across a link, HERE. Any personal stereo would do and guess what whoever is in the UK, many women think there aren’t enough man joining them. :)

Next on the list is the Lilipods. I’m telling you, iPod not only has generated a mass comsumer market by some ghost method but also manage to bring back old products to life for reselling. Have a look, HERE. And see what I’m talking about. I remember there was something like this given away by Coppertone though it didn’t have a real purpose. I think the only risky thing about this product is if it spoilt the iPod while in water, could you sue them? Let’s wait and see.

So much lovely stuff for my Major Project.. *dreaming*

GunBound Cartoon

Argh! Why didn’t I login earlier on?! T_T Now they’re having a small contest for people to design a comic then they’ll digitize it. Sigh, the start date was 15th November and ending 28th November. How to complete an uber nice comic in just 8 days? T_T Anyway, see what me and my babee could do. Probably we could come up with something. Then the prize of the pen avatar later see who keep. :D If you want more details of it, head on to GunBound Cartoon.

Updated Gallery

Gallery is now running on version 1.4.4-pl4. My host advised me to update due to some bugs that might exploit the server. For a host to inform me on this, I guess it must be quite a serious bug. :) Anyway, if you’re going to help me scratch my back then I’ll just return the favor and keep them safe. *thumbs*

Sadly, MovableType won’t be updated till I’ve planned and restructure a new strategy for dannyFoo.com. Yes, the website isn’t going to be just a blog anymore so serious preparations need to be thought of before the next launch. Will update you more on this once I’ve got things settled. Cheers!

I forgot to post this address. It’s a McDonald’s Philippines website that looks like it’s going to be the future’s fast food ordering form. ;) The website is called, 8mcdo.com.

Normz.com

I just finished revamping the design on Normz.com and it’s running on the latest version of Movable Type. Well, the revamp of my website won’t come so soon as I’ve got lots of planning to do. I’m even thinking of removing the blog and just make this website a portfolio site. Anyway, time will see what I plan to do with this website. ;)

Community Gamers

Helping out game developers prevent pirated problems of latest games like Half-Life 2 is the latest news at CNN. Well, I think they’ll still fail in preventing piracy but hey, if gamers are true to a real game being developed then why not pay back the developers for their efforts right. :) I’m definetely going to get myself a copy of Half Life 2. I admit owning few pirated games due to the fact that I just wanted to try them out and not for keeps. However, I think I’ve found a solution to buying a pirated game. That’s to download Demos now for testing. ;)

This post should’ve been in the ‘games’ category but it’s in ‘web’ due to the fact that I’m also going to add in some information about the iPod Photo. Well, it’s out and rumors don’t need to be questioned. On the other hand, first review I’ve read complaint that the thumbnails are small, it eats up lots of battery, and there was another problem but I forgot. Oh well, anyway, I was reading back one of the older articles at CNN again and noticed something good to quote. :)

“You have to be careful you don’t turn it into a digital Swiss army knife where you have a lot of functions, but none of them has a lot of strengths,” McGuire said. “You have to be careful about diluting the brand.”
